For us students, our answer to state intimidation must be to have faith in our own collective strength and advance the movement against repression.

The thought that I am not doing enough has plagued me more lately. I have come to a point that there is beyond academics and occasional writing for the student paper that I can and want to do.

Para sa mga nangangamba sa buhay pagkatapos grumadweyt, estudyanteng tinatawag ang sarili na delayed at bagsakin, at sa ating lahat na binigo ng mga pangako ng kasalukuyang pagpapagana ng edukasyon.

Pursuing causes we believe in, even when the desired goal seems too distant and elusive, is neither futile nor wasteful.

Would another sleepless night make me a better student than my peers? Or in the end, would it just be a measure of my willingness to sacrifice my personhood in favor of petty academic distinction?
